1961 Bentley Other Standard Steel Description

The Bentley S2 is the less ostentatious twin of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud 2. They are the same except for badging and the radiator grill. This one has had the brakes, radiator, water pump, fuel pump and hoses replaced. The upholstery is in good shape and the lambswool floor throws are in the trunk. This car was not only made in England, it lived a good part of its life there. See the pic of the resale plate from Ripon. It bears a service plate from Jack Barclay's in London on the top radiator hose, and still has the tool kit (see photo) in the trunk. It is right hand drive, which is really very easily mastered by American left hand drivers. Like all good collectibles this automobile has a host of interesting eccentricities the new owner will enjoy discovering.
The buyer should understand that the value of collectible cars follows their condition and popularity. This car runs and drives, but is far from perfect. A perfect restoration is displayed here on eBay for $221,000.
The car is offered at the fixed price of $15,000. I expect it to sell fast at this price. If you have not made a major purchase (more than $5,000) at eBay within the last two years expect me to throw your offer out unless you call and impress me with your desire to buy and your ability to pay (contact me by eBay messaging or leave me a question). I will not sell this car three times for the amusement of ebay "bidaholics". I've never kept anyone's deposit when they didn't comply with the terms of the sale, but there is always a first time.
