1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Base Description

thanks for looking!Up for auction is a 66 chevelle with Malibu trim chateau grey black interior split bench column shift inline 6 with powerglide transmission. This car has been sitting for many years. Yes it does run, but the trans needs a reseal from sitting. This is an original paint car, so no hidden surprises. The floors are very solid, one small hole on drivers rear floor area. Frame is solid and straight. Trunk floor is also solid. The back window area is very clean. Rockers are rock solid. The car was garage kept until about 1 year ago and has been covered since. It does have some dings, there is rust in the bottoms of the rear of quarters. The mice used the rear drop off area as a urinal so the acid ate the very bottoms. Both front fenders have rust at the bottom but EXTREMELY useable. The hood is straight, and is the deck lid and roof. All glass is good. The interior is complete, but needs a recover, and I would replace the carpet.
I have been around this hobby for 30 plus years, I am being extremely honest when I say this is a very nice solid car. It is NOT a show car, but can be a either a survivor driver, clean base for a resto mod, or great base for a SS clone. I am available next Saturday 10/29/2016 am if you would like to inspect. I am about 20 minutes off of exit 4 of the NJ turnpike. If any questions please call, my cell number is 609-206-5360 between 6-9 pm is fine. The car is clear titled in New Jersey in my name. Not interested in trades. Winner bidder must arrange all shipping. No extra parts for the car go with the auction, just the complete car.
