1967 Ford Mustang Description

Pictured for sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible project. The Mustang is very original has not been driven for quite some time, and has been stored inside since the early 80's. The 6 cyl. engine will turn over manually, but hasn't been run in several years. It would likely run with little work, but no attempt has been made to start it. The Mustang is very complete and has an automatic transmission. And according to receipts, has a rebuilt carburetor, newer fuel tank with sending unit, and various brake parts. All glass is present and in decent shape including a newer windshield. Another nice feature on this Mustang are the turn signals located in the hood.Although the doors open and shut fine with no binding, the Mustang will need the typical mustang unibody repairs including the inner rocker panels, torque boxes and floor replacement. The rear frame rails around the shackle area are fairly solid. The body will also need the usual sheetmetal repairs. Included with the Mustang is a clear title. This Mustang convertible would make an excellent winter sweat equity project that is sure to increase in value due to the desireablity of these early convertibles. As well, these cars are easy to work on and virtually every part is reproduced and is easily available. Again, the Mustang is inoperable, but will roll and steer easily. Although shipping arrangements are the buyers responsibility, I can assist with finding a reasonably priced transport to anywhere in the country. Please ask if any questions arise.
