1979 Ford F-250 Description

Stunning Survivor!!!!!!
1979 Ford F-250 Custom 4X4CAMPER SPECIAL
Up for sale is our Simply Stunning 1979 Ford F-250 Custom CAMPER SPECIAL 4X4 Longbed. This truck has been babied and Garage Kept all it's life. There have only been two owners prior to me. It was purchased new in Bellevue Washington and remained there until this year. This truck is a VERY LOW MILEAGE, VERY TIGHT, 100% RUST FREE Beauty!!! It has never been wrecked and there is ZERO bondo. This is NOT a restored truck.Over the years there have been a few modifications only to upgrade.Original owner painted it 1979 Code M (9A) White, in the early 90's. Paint still shines as new. The Body is in excellent condition and the panel fit and finish is perfect. Very, very few chips or scratches. Almost show condition. All of the original stainless trim is in near mint condition. The interior is new looking. The Tilt Steering Wheel looks and works perfectly. Weatherstripping and seals are in excellent condition. The original Floor Mat is near Perfect. Aftermarket Bucket Type seats with fold-down console (made for 1979 F Series trucks) were installed for added comfort. Dash Pad, Rubber Floor, DoorPanels, and Headliner are all in perfect condition. All the glass is in near new condition. Dealer installed Sunroof works correctly and does NOT leak. In 2001, with the truck only having 45,000 original miles, the second owner replaced the original 400 C.I.D. with a brand new "More Performance Oriented" 429 C.I.D. 4 Barrel engine to pull a horse trailer for his daughter's show horses throughout Washington State. It only has encountered 13,000 miles since the engine swap. I have the receipts for it. Engine runs perfect, cool, no smoke or leaks. Exhaust was replaced with engine swap. Transmission and Transfer caseshift as they should. This truck comes with TWO sets of wheels and tires. The chrome wheels and 33x12.50x16 tires that are currently on the truck were used as the (around town set) approx. 45% tread. The other set is the original wheels with original hubcaps and practically brand new tires, approx 95%. The prior owner only used these tires for road trips to save on gas mileage. Spare is approx. 50%. The CRUISE CONTROL works as new. EVERYTHING WORKS!!! It needs nothing!!!! Almost show quality throughout. This truck drives like it did in 1979. No wander, no squeaks, no leaks, no rattles. Also, has an insulated aluminum shell that is in new condition. The pictures really don't show what a nice truck this truly is. Please call, text, or email with any questions, concerns, or offers. Todd (208) 989-3970
