1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

This is a car for someone looking specifically for a diesel Mercedes, or who likes to restore classic cars. It is sold AS IS. Buyer assumes liability for all issues disclosed or undisclosed, though I will do my best to disclose everything I can think of.
The car runs, and can be used for local errands, but should not be taken on the freeway or over steep hills.
Power windows and vacuum power locks work, except the lock on the trunk, which is unreliable. Trunk often won't open, should not be used.The fuel gauge works.Windshield wipers work, but one of the fluid spouts does not.Headlights work but are dim and should be replaced.Power steering sort of works - it is still a heavy car to turn.The engine is leaking oil.The odometer, speedometer, clock and air conditioning do not work.Heater works after a time, but cannot be adjusted.The antenna is broken off, but several radio stations still come in and the CD player works.Front bumper has come loose.Tires and brakes will probably need to be replaced within the year.There is minor cosmetic damage on the exterior and interior.
I make no bones about the condition of the car. Again, it is for someone specifically looking for this type of vehicle. If someone is willing to invest time and money on restoration, you could make a tidy sum renting it to film and TV sets that need classic cars.
