1988 Subaru dl electric vehicle conversion. This is a working fully electric vehicle. It contains 16 6 volt batteries and has an inboard 110 volt charger. Vehicle has decent looking paint and interior. Range with the current battery pack is around 20 miles. Distance and performance could be increased with new batteries. This car can run 70 on the interstate. The syncros on third gear do not shift smoothly but it does nothinderthe operation of the vehicle. The car has a Raptor 600 controller with a advanced DC 9" motor. It has a dc to dc converter, inertiaswitch for crash protection, as well as a manual disconnecton the dashThis vehicle puts a smile on everyone'sface when you drive it down the street. The backup beeper from a box truck is a barrel of laughs. I have a binder full of information that goes with the car. It was built at a local community college.
