1988 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62

JT3FJ62G5J0085119

I purchased this Land Cruiser out of San Diego. Based on the Clean Autocheck it has spent most of its’ life on the West Coast, mostly Oregon. The body on this truck is VERY straight and shows no signs of any accidents or rust. However, the truck has been repainted at some point. The paint is in good condition, and I just had it completely wet sanded. The body does have some scratches on it, which could be expected. It also has a brand new front grill assembly that I purchased from Cool Cruisers.

The interior is in excellent condition and mostly original. I just had the driver’s seat repaired for a rip in the bottom cushion and at that time they added more foam to the seat. The rear panels in the cargo area I had re-done at the same time, along with new material over the wheel wells. THE RADIO PICTURED IN THE CAR DOES NOT COME WITH THE SALE. The new owner will need to put the radio of their choice in the truck. However, I did buy a new power antenna that has been installed. The dash has some cracking, but I have seen much worse. The AC blows ICE COLD and has been recently serviced.

It also will come with a Huge Safari Rack for the top of the vehicle, but I chose to remove it. When we did so, we did scratch, not dent, the top a little. The rack needs to be restored or repainted. The Cruiser also has to very large round lights that can be mounted on the front bumper, but the wiring is not complete.
