1962 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

Here is my 1962 Volkswagen Beetle. This little buggy runs and drives.This little guy was special ordered in Germany in Landstuhl, Germany in 1961. It made it's way to Texas in 1971 but the original owner. It made its way to California sometime in 1997 and has been here ever since. She was restored in September 2000. I have a solid amount of paper work from the day it was ordered, sales slip from Germany, oil changes, restoration, etc. (Check out the pix)
Lights work all the way around still 6 volt. Windows roll up & down just fine. Right door has to be locked from the inside. Has original German column steering wheel ignition that has been disconnected, will include key.Original radio (can hear speaker static but channels do not work), horse hair seats and headliner, most headlights and taillights seem to be original Hella brand. Germany Wolfsburg trip around bug.
Does have rust issues in rear window, side windows, heater channels, battery tray area and in front of battery tray area.
Purchase will include:Brand new running boards, new steering wheel horn ring, and new turn signal.
Front apron and rear apron are solid. Please feel free to ask for more pictures if needed :]
Not sure about the specs of the engine and transmission other than it runs and is fun to drive. Not sure if miles are original or if the odometer works. Currently clean California pink slip.Buyer will be responsible for vehicle pickup upon payment.
