1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle Karmann Description

This 1979 beetle convertible is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. We have owned the car for 10 years and it has been used as a weekend car and taken to car shows. The cream colored paint is in excellent condition with a high gloss. There are no dents, dings, or scratches. There is no rust anywhere on the body and the floor pans are original and excellent condition. There is minor pitting on some of the chrome pieces that we deemed were not worthy of replacing but they are not perfect. Theinterior is also in excellent condition with no rips, tears or holes. The top is also in excellent condition with no rips, tears or holes. Everything on the car works. It starts, goes, shifts, and stops as it should. The tires are very new with 95% or better tread. The dual carb. 1776 stroker motor was professionally built and installed by Herrell VW in Carrollton Georgia in 2009 and has under 5,000 miles. It has been well maintained, garage kept. It is extremely reliable and needs nothing to daily drive or simply use as a weekend toy.
